The 2022
Ride
When: 23rd September 2022
Where: Cheltenham to London
Distance: 106 miles
Elevation: 3,800 ft
After the roaring success of the 2021 Ride, which raised £25,000 for Samaritans, the team are back at it again! This time taking on the route that SHOULD have happened in 2020, before a nationwide lockdown threw a spanner in the works.
Now we know what you’re thinking, 107 miles sounds like a walk in the park compared to the 201 miles covered last year, but the just shy of 4,000ft of elevation more than makes up for it.
This years route has some truly gruelling climbs as it winds it’s way through the Cotswolds and then Chiltern Hills, topped off with everyone’s favourite part; navigating through the London traffic to make it to Leadenhall Market.
Below you can see the scheduled stops, a visual representation of the ups and downs our riders will experience, and a Komoot link to the route if you’d like to take a closer look.
On the day we’ll have live updates you can follow along with, live tracking on the lead bike, and some *hopefully* interesting blog posts about some of the places the team are visiting.

The Charity
In 2022 we rode for Samaritans.
Samaritans is available day or night, for anyone who is struggling to cope or just needs someone to listen without judgement or pressure. Their vision is that fewer people die by suicide and by providing the right support, Samaritans believe it’s something that can be prevented.
Established in 1953, with the aim to listen confidentially and without judgement, the team has grown from just one to 20,000 volunteers based in 201 branches across the UK and Ireland taking calls, answering emails or speaking to people face-to-face.
Samaritans is not only there for a moment of crisis; they work within their local communities to take preventative action by supporting people from all walks of life. They give people ways to cope, the skills to be there for others and, encourage and celebrate those moments of connection between people that can save lives.
